Siam Park

Grandparents
Good. Coco Beach gentle wave pool, Mai Thai lazy river, and white-sand Siam Beach offer relaxed options. Lots of loungers. Some walking required.

Hours: 10:00-17:00 (Nov-Apr); 10:00-18:00 (May-Oct). Verify at date.

⚠️ Height limits strictly enforced (1.1m for many family slides, 1.25m for bigger ones, 1.4m+14y for Tower of Power). Lockers extra. Fast Pass costs more. Weekends and school holidays are very busy.

Aqualand Costa Adeje

Excellent for ages 4-8. Smaller scale, more relaxed, dedicated kid areas and a Dolphinarium show. Maya will find plenty to do.
Grandparents
Very good. More compact than Siam Park, less walking, plenty of seating. Dolphinarium show is seated entertainment.

Hours: 10:00-17:00 (winter); 10:00-18:00 (summer Apr-Oct)

⚠️ Fewer adrenaline rides than Siam Park. Some slides have height limits. Food on-site is typical theme-park quality.

Mount Teide Cable Car (Teleférico del Teide)

Mixed. Arthur (7) may enjoy the cable car ride and lunar landscape. Maya (4) and Thomas are allowed but altitude (3,555m at upper station) can affect young kids. Under-3s not permitted. Cold and windy at top.
Grandparents
Caution. Grandparents with cardiovascular issues or mobility limitations should avoid. The upper station requires walking short trails (600m) to viewpoints. Cold, thin air. Wheelchair users cannot access cable car for safety reasons.

Hours: 09:00-16:00 (last ascent ~15:00); extended to 18:00 Jul-Sep. Mar 23-Apr 7 2026: 09:00-18:30.

⚠️ Borderline 45-min scope — drive is ~65 min from Callao Salvaje. Summit trail to 3,718m requires a free permit booked months in advance (often sold out). Eco-tax may apply from 2026 — verify. Weather can close the cable car with short notice. Dress very warmly.

Whale & Dolphin Watching Tours

Grandparents
Good if sea conditions are calm. Choose a larger catamaran or glass-bottom boat for stability and minimal movement. Avoid small speedboats.

⚠️ Sighting guaranteed on most reputable tours (free return trip if none seen). Can be choppy — take seasickness tablets if sensitive. Small children need supervision on deck.

Submarine Safari (Sub Fun Cinco)

Hours: Typically 10:00-16:00 with dives every 1-2 hours; check schedule online

⚠️ Children under 2 not permitted. Total experience ~1 hour including boarding. No toilet on board. Advance booking essential as only 44 seats per dive.

Camel Park / Camel Riding

Moderate. Getting on/off the camel requires some mobility (ramp available). The ride is slow and gentle. Farm area has uneven ground.

⚠️ The 'Camel Park' in Chayofa is the main accessible option from the south. The El Tanque camel rides are in the north-west and much farther (~75 min drive) — not recommended for this itinerary. Some animal-welfare concerns have been raised online — check recent reviews.
